Zekeriya Çoştu

Zekeriya Çoştu

Born in İskilip in 1985, Mr. ÇOŞTU graduated from Boğaziçi University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2008. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Zekeriya ÇOŞTU has held commercial management and strategic planning consultancy roles at prominent institutions, including Turkish Airlines and TRT.

In 2018, he was appointed Director of the Project Management Office at the Ministry of Industry and Technology. As part of the National Technology Initiative, he actively participated in initiatives and projects to support R&D and innovation and to develop the technology ecosystem in Türkiye.

He assumed the role of founding Director General of the Directorate General of National Technology, established in April 2020 to institutionalize and strengthen the National Technology Initiative within the Ministry and the public administration. While serving in this capacity, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology on June 22, 2023.

Mr. ÇOŞTU has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye since August 2023.
