Abdülkerim Gök
Born in Şanlıurfa in 1970, Mr. GÖK graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Finance. He completed his Master’s and PhD studies at Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Finance.
Mr. GÖK commenced his professional career in 1995 as an Assistant Specialist at Halk Bankası and subsequently served as a faculty member in the Department of Public Finance at Harran University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, between 1996 and 2010. During this period, he also held positions as Vice Dean, Department Head, Member of the Faculty Board of Directors, and Senate Member.
Serving as a Member of Parliament for Şanlıurfa in the 24th Legislative Term between 2011 and 2015, Mr. GÖK undertook roles such as Member of the GNAT Planning and Budget Committee, Chairman of the Malaysia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Vice Chairman of the Committee for Investigating Ways to Social Peace and Evaluating the Resolution Process. He joined the Ministry of Development as a Consultant in 2016, later serving at the Presidency of Strategy and Budget from 2018 until his retirement in March 2023.
Mr. GÖK has been serving as a Board Member of the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye since May 2026.
